Calgary Psychedelic Psychotherapy Clinic

Dan is a registered psychologist (#2896-AB) who offers extensive experience and expertise to clients who are in the midst of a life changing transition, emotional quandary, grief work, spiritual discovery and/or existential dilemma.

He has completed specialized training and certification in emotion-focused therapy, focusing-oriented therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, positive psychology, and narrative therapy. In 2009, he completed a doctoral dissertation at the University of Calgary titled, Uncovering and Understanding the Spirituality and Wholeness of Educators.

Dan’s approach is person-centered and based on the healing power of the therapeutic alliance. It entails creating a safe, open, engaging relational space. He acts as a catalytic companion by using strategic questions to probe and coax the client to the meaningful discoveries and adaptations that will make a difference for them.

Dan has 150+ hours of theoretical and experiential Psychedelic/Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (PaT/KaT) training. Since April 2022 he has been doing legal, clinical Pat/Kat preparation/integration sessions with treatment resistant PTSD, Trauma & Depression clients.   Dan began studying and practicing contemplative disciplines, dream interpretation, non-ordinary states of consciousness and psycho-spiritual discovery work at the age of fourteen.

To ensure regulatory and legal requirements are met for engaging in psychedelic-assisted therapy you need to receive your treatment/dosing  through a licensed medical clinic with a psychiatrist – Chief Medical Officer – and/or via the Federal Gov’t’ Special Access Program.

If you are receiving treatment/dosing as per above and you have specific questions, or even if you want to hear how Dan can help you, fill out this form and we’ll contact you within one business day.
